Key Objectives of the Project

  1. Convey mission and values — Build a narrative and design that reflect C.C. We Adapt’s commitment to healing, connection, and adaptability.
  2. Clarify services & impact — Clearly present all their service areas (peer support, youth mentoring, therapeutic excursions, tenant support, training, etc.).
  3. Guide action and connection — Make it easy for visitors (participants, referral sources, community members) to reach out, inquire, or engage.
  4. Design for scalability — Build templates and content structures so new services, team members, or events (like the 2026 Summit) can be added seamlessly.
  5. Ensure accessibility, performance & trust — Use best practices so the site is fast, reliable, mobile-friendly, and secure.

The Services We Provided

Discovery & Strategy

Our process began with immersive discovery. We met with C.C. We Adapt’s leadership and program staff to understand:

  • The stories and lived experiences behind their work.
  • How each service area operates (peer support, mentorship, excursions, etc.).
  • Key audience groups: individuals seeking support, county agencies (for the CCS program), and therapists or referral organizations.
  • Messaging that reassures, explains eligibility, and breaks down steps in approachable terms.

We then crafted user journeys: from “I’m curious about help” to “How do I join?” and “I’m a county or partner considering referral.”
From those, we designed the site structure — Home, About, Services (with subpages), Team, Events / Summit, and Contact & Eligibility Information.

Brand & Visual Identity

Because C.C. We Adapt deals with delicate, human-centered work, the visual language had to balance warmth, clarity, and professionalism.

  • A color palette that feels grounded, calm, and hopeful.
  • Typography choices that are legible and empathetic.
  • Imagery that evokes movement, nature, connection, and growth.
  • Subtle interface touches — hover states, soft transitions — to support an inviting UX.

We also defined a visual system including icons, service callouts, and section styles that could scale as new pages or services are added.

Website Design & Development

With strategy and visuals in place, we moved into building the site on a custom WordPress framework (or headless + CMS hybrid, depending on needs).

Key features:

  • Service pages with clarity: Detailed explanations for peer support, youth mentoring, therapeutic excursions, tenant support, and training — outlining what’s involved, who is eligible, and what to expect.
  • Eligibility & program modules: Since services are tied to Wisconsin’s CCS program, we included clear explanations of enrollment, county roles, and contact paths.
  • Team & leadership profiles: A robust “Our Team” section listing co-owners, clinicians, supervisors, and support staff — complete with headshots and bios.
  • Event / Summit page: A modular section for upcoming events (such as the 2026 Summit) with registration or teaser content.
  • Contact & inquiry forms: Prominent CTAs and forms across service pages so individuals or partner agencies can reach out directly.
  • Mobile and responsive layout: Optimized for users accessing via phones or tablets.
  • Performance & security: Caching, optimized images, clean code, SSL encryption, and plugin hygiene.

We built content templates so new service pages or team bios could be added without needing developer support.

Messaging & Conversion Flow

We worked closely with C.C. We Adapt’s team to craft copy that balances empathy, clarity, and authority. Each page guides visitors through:

  1. Introduction to the service area.
  2. Explanation of how it works & eligibility.
  3. Reinforcement of credibility & humanity through team stories and values.
  4. Clear invitations to contact or take next steps.

Calls-to-action — such as contact, learn more, or apply — are placed contextually throughout the site so visitors feel informed, seen, and confident to engage.
